In artist Ron Lemen’s sublime Godzilla vs. Kincade, Godzilla is clearly a visual metaphor for Amy Pinto-Walsh, Kinkade’s live-in girlfriend and personal assistant.
Apparently the death of the famous “Painter of Light” (after a valium and alcohol overdose) has pitted Kinkade’s wife, family and close friends against Pinto-Walsh in a fight over his legacy and public image.
A restraining order alleges that Pinto-Walsh was privy to information about how Kinkade created his paintings, including "the use of computer technology" in painting.
"If these trade secrets were disclosed, the Kinkade businesses would suffer irreparable harm," said the attorney for Kinkade’s family.
No mention was made of Kinkade’s penchant for marking his territory by urination, which hopefully will remain enshrined in his golden oeuvre.

Parodying Kickade seems to be a cottage industry... http://tinyurl.com/2pwdhs

“They and others also described incidents in which an allegedly drunken Kinkade heckled illusionists Siegfried and Roy; cursed a former employee's wife who came to his side when he fell off a barstool; fondled a startled woman's breasts at a signing party; and urinated on a Winnie the Pooh figure at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim.”

Like NOT using Photoshop would make his "paintings" less hideous and banal?
